Procedure: in cases of Hospitalization
Please call the Travel Guard International on +27 11 251 3600 in cases of emergency to get guidance directly from them.
When you call through, the operator will ask for your membership number (BOMaid)
Normally Travel Guard International refers members to its preferred hospitals and makes payments directly to the hospitals.
Procedure: Where Hospitalization is not required
Contact Travel Guard International on +27 11 251 3600 and ask for a Claim Form from them and fill in.
It is necessary to obtain the attending physician’s signature on the Form.
Please collect all bills/receipts/invoices and file for reimbursement
Documents are submitted at BOMaid or Botswana Insurance Company (BIC).
BIC will then fax the claim forms to International SOS claims department for investigations and authorization for payments.
Payments are normally processed through BIC.

An Annual Executive Medical Examination
The scheme C member gets the privilege of having an annual medical exam, which can be undertaken at anytime during the year by a simple telephone appointment with our designated specialists.
Door Step Delivery of Your Chronic Medication
Should you as a scheme C member be enrolled on our chronic ailments program, we will deliver your medication to your destination of choice (within Botswana). This service is available during working hours and you can, by contacting us on the telephone numbers below, indicate as to where you wish your medication delivered. To ensure regular and continuous supply, please do book your monthly prescription at least one week before your supply runs out, and renew your prescription on a timely basis as and when required.
