Marking our 40th anniversary

The year 2010 to BOMaid, 2010 is a year of great significance in the history of the organization as it marks the 40th anniversary of operation of the Society.

As the year 2010, marks a special occasion we would like to share the gratitude and memories with all those associated with BOMaid, as stakeholders. It goes without saying that without your loyal support, guidance and wisdom we would not have reached this milestone – celebrating forty (40) years of proud service to the loyal membership of the Society, and the nation of Botswana at large. We have weathered the storms together; it continues to be our wish that we celebrate many more years with you.

On behalf of the Executive Management and Board of Management, we wish all to join us this year as the Society goes on a special journey of reflection to mark this milestone achievement. We could not overemphasize that indeed ‘life begins at forty’, to have amassed experience, knowledge and wisdom in diligently dispatching our duties. Above all, we have remained true to our mandate since inception, by providing the most competitive and affordable health care funding since inception to date - forty years later.

Not everything can be learned in a formal class setting excerpt in life’s experience, and BOMaid has come to be the ‘medical aid you can trust’ from the life long interactions with various stakeholders.
