CRS – Monare Primary, Makaleng & Mannathoko Junior secondary school

This has been an eventful year for Bomaid on the corporate social responsibility front. Our management recognizes that as part of our contribution towards the ideals of vision 2016, we need to invest and support initiatives geared at promoting healthy and well rounded leaders of tomorrow. Academic excellence has been identified as an area of concern that warranted our participation, a show of support.

In such opportune events, as our leaders, and in government keep reminding us, they cannot go it alone; working closely with the schools allows us to identify the needs of the school, children and largely the community. And as per the vision pillar of ‘a compassionate and caring nation’, as a corporate entity going into the New Year we are able to weigh and asses our relevance, efficiency and effectiveness towards the different diasporas we exist alongside as part of our corporate social responsibility

This therefore saw us participating largely on the price giving ceremony celebrations in Serowe at Mannathoko Junior secondary, Makaleng Junior secondary and also in Monare primary’s price giving and fair well celebrations for the outgoing standard seven pupils.

Our CEO and HR Manager graced these occasions and shared their valuable thoughts and experiences with the attendees, donating computers and financial capital to help improve the welfare of both the teachers and students. From one parent to another, this was a moving moment from Mr. Alexander encouraging parents, teachers and students to work together in these trying times for the common of our country as time goes by.
